DESCRIPTION:Dear all\, \nAs mentioned in our previous email below we will be holding an open forum for discussion of the draft document issued by the Department of Health in relation to the statutory MPE register.We are pleased to announce that this meeting will be held in person at the Croke Park Hotel on Friday 13th May from 1pm to 2pm.  Car parking is available for those that wish to drive. The hotel is also within walking distance of Drumcondra train station and a range of bus routes. \nDirections to Croke Park Hotel \nThis is a great opportunity to meet with colleagues face to face post Covid restrictions and we will be providing lunch from 12.30pm. This represents the many strands of medical physics\, which all operate at different energies and strengths and how\, when they come together\, they maximise the benefit to every patient. Ireland is an island nation with a strong history of sharing knowledge and connecting people. Here\, we are all well aware of the importance of science without borders. The idea of the 2022 Congress is to reflect this connectivity between physicists and the sense of community. \nEFOMP represents more than 9000 medical physicists and clinical engineers working in the field of medical physics.
